i just got my skis mounted at core center, but they look to far back and i was just wondering how you would check if there in the rigut spot and when you get skis mounted a core center what should be at the mark that says co center
no my fujatives mark for core center is a little back from true center so i had the shop measure and find an imaginary line that was core center. so the best way is put one ski forward and one ski backward now look at that line is it even with the one on the other ski
you have no idea...core center is the center of the side cut, that's where it is marked on the skis. true center is the center of the skis. now you know.
holy retardedness. and i believe i recall the thread your talking about jib. i love k2, but hate them for making up their imaginary 'core center' to confuse the ever living hell out of every person who can't realize that its just a proprietary number on the side of their ski that at one point, had a meaning, but not doesn't mean anything at all. in the past, a la the first gen. fujatives, you weren't supposed to mount the skis past that line due to the reinforced binding mat. now, it doesnt matter, you can mount them at center just fine, so core center doesnt mean crap. its not the center of anything at all, actually.
