I always crack things. Like my neck, back, ankle, knuckles, and so on. I usually only crack my knuckles when I nervous though, and then neck and stuff when I'm bored or tired.

The cracking sounds that is made when you pop your knuckles is imploding nitrogen. Many doctors have 'proven' or 'disproven' the theory that cracking them is bad for you. I personally crack my knuckles all the time, and my knees and ankles crack ALL the time on their own when I walk as a lasting effect of being in gymnastics for so long. I also crack my back everyday because it always hurts and that makes it feel at least a little better. It feels so cool because it cracks all the way up like running a mallet thingie across a xylophone.
