Here is the frame for my new box. It is 8 ft long and 1ft wide. Think I will need supports to keep it from tipping or will just putting it in snow work?
I'd say put supports on it. If you pack a lot of good wet snow around it it will stay, but that makes it a bitch to move if you have to. If you go with supports you will be much happier and it will be easier. Nice looking box so far.
I got some hdpe 1/2" 1ft by 8ft for $15, can't beat it, so I glued it on a couple hours ago and we're suppose to be getting some snow this weekend so hopefully I'll test it out. There is about 200-300lbs of water, bowling balls, gas tank, cat litter, tools, etc. on it right now so its deffinitly strong.
