The delam problem was Option's fault entirely. They ran out of the specific epoxy 4frnt designated for the ski halfway through production and simply substituted a snowboard epoxy they had on hand. Almost every one from that part of the batch delammed, they recorded all of the serial numbers that came in on warranty and tehy were all part of that one batch.
4FRNT is building skis in the Elan factory now, one of the top factories in the world where 10+ ski/snowboard brands are built. The '07 STL will be way better than any before, as will the other 4FRNT skis. The ones in my store look and feel way more legit than they did in previous years.
the reason it took so long was they had to make the move to elan late so they got in the back of the production line so they were literally the last company pressed for this year in the slovina factory. the ski isn't quite as light as it was last year still very similar. the original delam issue really went away after they left 5-axis two years ago.
