i wouldnt take offense to that cause people with racing backgrounds are usually very good skiers, and i think hes saying if your a racer you want to go with the bigger size because racers usually ski harder, requiring a longer ski

ohok...i didnt take it right sorry. but y would a racer be getting a twin tip. anyways, so would i be ok on a 167? cuz last year when i was 2 inchs shorter and 20 lbs liter i skiied on a 170 for a day when my skis were out and i had major troubles even just skiing down the hill...

yeah you should be alright. but if u get the 172's make sure there pereftly centerd you still should be able to control them fine

sick. i really like this ski and its really cheap. like all the armadas are rips compared to it and im just asking but i think they are as good as the ar6s right?...

Hey Bryce, I've got a pair or Chronics too and they are very good skis. They are not quite like the AR6 though. AR6 is a little more park oriented while the chronic is a little more stiff for all-over-the-mountain performance. The AR6 is not better, people just think it must be because it is more expensive. Armada is a great ski company, but keep in mind it is an expensive one, you pay more for the name and the cool factor. Line is a bit cheaper than most because of their manufacturing techniques, and they save money by not maintaining a pro team anymore. It wasn't always this way: the first generation of Chronics sold for $500 or more, that was before they moved their factory (for the first time) to make manufacturing cheaper. Now they sell the same product for less. You will get more than your $400 worth.
