It isn't the widest part...just forward and back of the waist is!

The first time I held last years JP V Julien's I could not believe how liteweight they were. Armada has used a good combo on their naturally heavier skis so that they are still manuverable. AND I was a huge fan of the Pocket Rocket, so the more the merrier.
