Replying to Ahh xbox genious' lend a hand

so I have an xbox in my dorm room that I brought from home, and it's pretty much all I do on rainy days like this and shit and when I'm sposed to be doing homework, asdide from ns. anyway, at home it broke one time, just stopped turning on. then like 6 months later I tried turning it on before I took some sort of action (probably just tossin it) and it turned on! fixed itself. Last week it started not turning on again, any thoughts on how to fix it without waiting for 6 months for it to heal itself? I'm guessing it's either a bad connection with the power cord or with the power button, although more likely the cord because both the eject and power button dont turn it on and it's unlikely that both of those connections went at the same time... ?
