Replying to Hear Ye Hear Ye, Review section is crap!
Why? Because YOU made it that way. How? By posting a 10 second review of whatever ski you bought this year and rating it a 10 no matter how it actually performs. I've seen reviews that boild down to "never ridden it... 10!" "it's falling apart after 1 day but it looks cool... 10!" and "I paid $10,500 for it but it was worth it... 10!" Well this has got to stop. The review section will not be helpful if you aren't honest about your gear. Not every ski can be a 10, it doesn't have to be. Also, words speak louder than numbers. Say what you like about the ski, say what you don't like; that's more helpful than just saying, "IT'S SIIIIIICK... 10!" Also, let's talk about the "value" section. That means, how mush ski did you get for the money? It doesn't mean "would you pay more?" So, if you paid $500 and you like the ski, that's AVERAGE, give it a 5. It doesn't matter if you "would have gladly paid more," it just means you got an average amount for your money. If you paid $100 for the same ski at super discount, then you can feel free to give it a 10 for value.
Now, get out there and review your gear fairly. fin.
