I bought them because they're so comfortable. I think you would have to try to get shin bang in these it's impossible. They ski so nice and butters and presses don't even tingle.
i got shin bang first day in them, it still hurts too. i think i might have buckled em up too tight and over done the buttering because i got em fit by a boot fitter and everything so they are the right size and shiat
nomensteven is right, boots only help prevent shin bang, not fully. if you land backseat in any boot your shins will hurt, the spk's have the rear spoiler which will help a little, but you can still get it. ways to solve shin bang are getting stronger, more padding, more flex in your boot e.t.c.
what i did was put padding on the sides of your shins where there is muscles, than the pressure is evenly distrubuted, that worked for me. the best thing to do, go to a surefoot, they will help you!
ya if you have a particularly painful spot on the shin, cut out a donut-shaped padding circle and tape it to your shin. This takes pressure off the spot
i had the worst bang every with them last week but i just got back from my shop and i got heel lifters put in so i think that took care of the problems a little
