Watup guys, finally got my SPK's and I like them alot (personal opinion). I know that when I ride I will prolly break them in more, but do you guys feel that they're wicked tight around your calf area? Just walkin around, I feel like my calves are being suffocated...
I don't have thunder calves...I tryed them on around the store, size 28.0, and I like the fit of the boot...When I got back to my apartment and was walking around for a while in them, it seemed as if they were suffocating my calves. I'm sure they need to be broken in a little bit, but they shouldnt be THAT tight. Would bumping up a size make a differnce. a 28.5 is the same shell as the 28.0...What do you guys think?
haha i wa just playin man, they really shouldnt be tight, def not suffucating your leg. go to a reliable bootfitter and get them checked out, may have been a defect or somethin idk.
The only thing I'm thinking is that red piece in the back part of the calf of the boot...It's their to absorb on switch landings and the guy I dealt with said I could jsut take it out...
Yeah, I definately had my boots a tad tight on the buckles and straps...I removed the red back piece and it was pretty comfortable also...I really think they jsut needa be skied several times so i can break em in...Less than a week for me though!
im really confused: i have rampages and they fit my foot, apprently there narrow, i tried on spks and they fit my foot just as well as the rampages, but i thought they were uber wide, the spks also have a lower instep.
