ive never surfed it, but jeffery's bay is supposed have perfect peaks that make for a very long ride. it's rated 10/10 on the "perfecto meter" on surfline.com.
ship wreck coast is fucking gnarly one hundred miles of reef and rock with barrels left, right and center. watch out for sharks. great whites are known for shallow water feeding all over the coast of South Africa, other than that, you are bound for good waves, the place is stacked with a coast line which has been discovered about as much as pluto and they just found out that shit was a star.
yeah SA has heaps of awesome waves. Jefferies is a "reef/point break" very long rihgt hander with numerious sections offering barrells and loads of speed. Good beach breaks around Cape Town. Waves up at Durban. And basically everywhere in between. But yeah, watch out for the Whites, they'll fucking kill ya.
