Replying to Too many options and secisions... PLEASE HELP!
I am looking to get some skis for the winter, but have too many decisions to make, and too many options. ive looked at a lot of reviews etc on here, but im still puzzled.
im 6' (still maybe a little more to grow) 165lb, and im quite an agressive skier.
i spend about 70% of time in the park at the moment, but want to explore the back country and powder a little more. i currently have no skiis at the moment, so my options i think are:
1.buy some skis that are all round pretty good at the lot- was thinking rossi scratch sprayer bc's, or line chronic wide- although i wouldnt really want to do rails with them, as they would be too new and shiny for any of that.
2. buy a pair for the pow, and a pair for the park- maybe rossi scratch bc, and line invaders, chronics, or t-halls (all older models) which i could thrash around and do rails on etc. this would be the more expensive way of doing it, and if i wanted to do a bit of park, then a bit of pow id have to take both pairs and leave them on the mtn somewhere- bit dodgy.
i dont really want to spend that much money, so the second pair in no. 2 would have to be pretty damn cheap- all from ebay. id also want to keep the skis for a while, so they'd have to be strong.
i was thinking 185's for pow, around 170 for park.
id like to hear any opinions/advice please!
