Does anyone think it would be possible to Make a wooden ramp..and then put some turf or something on it, and ride it down to the rail that i have? I wanna set it up in my friends back yard cuz its pretty big..If we can, we'll do it on his grass and session it all summer..
Plans for now:
Wooden ramp(Haven't decided on Height and Length yet)
Turf attached to the ramp for a sliding surface..
Rail to slide..
Turf mat at the end to ride out before you hit the grass.
Comments / Suggestions?

arena snow melts like a bastard though. get something permanant like the turf you speak of. ive heard rumors of being able to get small pieces of snowflex but dendix you can get. look at smoothbourquin's profile, he has water ramp pics with dendex on it i think, ask him where he got it.

Yeah, just use some outdoor carpet and wet it down with water and soap.

I heard he had a style, and so I came to see him and listen for awhile.
Please don't go, suberban rythem, all the other bands are just shit!
Dangerous objects were left about in the hope that it would do itself an injury, preferably fatal.
But it never did, and instead, hacked up the carpets with knives.
Or burnt enormous holes in the upholstery with acid.

Ya I've already done this, because I have been without snow in my backyard and at most resorts since mid march. What I did was used a Factor-X ramp for a starting ramp and put about a ten foot strip of indoor-outdoor carpet at the end of it. Then at the end of the strip, under the carpet I put a wedge ramp about 8 inches high.(A piece of plywood propped up with a cinder block). I put my rail about 6 inches away from the top of the ramp, and put a small piece of carpet at the end of the rail so I didn't hit grass. After that you just put granulated laundry soap on it and wet it down. I also put a cinder block in back of the factor-X ramp so you could drop in to the ramp easier. This setup I think will work for just about any one. Just position the whole thing on a hill. It worked very well for me, but I snowboard, so maybe some slight modifications can be made to make it perfect for skiing. Oh ya and don't use brand new skis on it because the cinder block in back of the starting ramp really eats your bases up. That's why I use my shit board for it.

what about making ice in an icebox than put it onto the inrun? or just hang onto a motorbike as fast as possible... after 2-3 boken/burned pairs of skis it should work

IT's real nice cuz My parents own a carpet store and I get free amounts of astro turf. As much as I want. I could cover my whole yard if I really wanted to. Hey that's a good Idea, I could do that and then open it up to the public. Who's comin to my house this summer!?
