youd think it would be easy. but oh no. i made my library smaller so i only have 822 Mb. now i go to update my ipod. which is only a 1 gig. and nothing happens. the songs dont go on. currently on there is 174. i want 224. so how do i totally delete the songs off my ipod, and just put my library on. or is there a other way to do this?
shit same thing happened to me with my sister's old mp3 player, i didnt know how to fix it either. i have songs on it, then woke up the next morning and it said no songs, then i went to sync, and it said it was full
only as a last resort though. i would recomend joining apple.com thing. go to the search bar and put in apple id. in that thread dick-juice put where to do it. it allows you to enter ipod help threads
Plug it into your computer, open up itunes and wait until it's fully charged.
Your ipod will show up in itunes- double click on your ipod and you'll see a list of all the songs. right click on the songs you wish to remove and select delete (or clear, whatever comes up)
Go to iTunes and if you have checked off, "Sync only checked songs and videos" simply just uncheck the songs and resync. If you don't then you have to do so if you want to delete songs. You can't delete songs directly from the iPod.
