do you want a shitty college super close to skiing or a real college pretty close to skiing?
If you want to go to a real school but still be close to skiing, I would say the top 3 would be:
-University of Utah
-Montana State
-Western Washington
CU, UW, UN-Reno, UVM, and tons of liberal arts schools are also pretty good.

i'll give you a recommendation, you shouldnt pick a college for skiing, otherwise you may find that what you want to major in, will be worthless at some school. I'm simply speaking from my experience, i chose western state in 11th grade when i started skiing. Its really close to Crested Butte, which is sick, but for what i do, the school sucks, and i didnt even take time to think about what i actually wanted to do as far as a career or job, instead i merely picked it because i wanted to ski, which is cool for some people, but i'd rather be at a school where i enjoy myself, and learn something that is worth my time

Western washington is like an hour away from Baker moutain which has great snow, good terain and a pretty decent park. Central washington is like 45 minutes away from Snoqualmie summit which has a fuckin good park and Alpental has amazing terrain but its not as good of snow as baker. Thats it for washington pretty much.

that's it for WA?
ummm...it is 45 minutes from UW to Alpental.
There is also Seattle Pacific, Seattle U, Pacific Lutheran U, and the University of Puget Sound all within 45 minutes to 1.5 hours of Xtal and Alpental.
