Just a little message if you're going jibbing in a bad part of town remember to bring some protection, we got jumped last night outside rexall place in edmonton and had our video camera stolen and some shovels

Trust me if there were more of them they had knives im sure you would be happy to hand over the video camera and keep the rest of your gear and a body without holes.

yah man umm poles were made for that exact purpose stab the bastard in the eye sure he has a knife but u have a 3 feet of reach with a point that would definatly do some damage

im sorry man, I fell bad for you..............well mabey not, but I know that it sucks but come on now. You were skiing, every piece of ski equipment is a weapon. Your skis can be a sword is the edges are sharpened, if not there a nice bat. The poles hurt like a bitch if you use them as a bat and you can stab them with the end. You can do some major damage if you boot stomp them with your ski boots, you could bash some heads in with a shovel. Lets face it, you had all the protection you need. 

Oh and p.s. if you ever want to sesh some safer rails in edmonton pm me, me and a few buddys go once or twice over 2 weeks

Yeah that would have been ideal if we were holding them unfortunatly I had the camera in hand and the other i was with were standing at the bottom of the rail discussing something at the bottom of the rail while all of our gear was at the top of the inrun stairs they actually had our poles and shovels. I think that they got caught anyways, I heard on the radio four guys were arrested infront of the Rexall LRT station trying to rob an undercover cop
