prom/formal/whatever=bad

welcome to Malvern in toronto. here at malvern, we like to drink. we like to drink at dances, battle of the bands, large assemblies ect. The principal (who wants to make an example of us so he can become president of the board, and then retire one year later) has decided to take action.
so, after our semi-formal (call it what you want) when grade 10s puked all over teachers and such, the principal has decided to have Breathalizers, thats right breathalizers at the door.
you must blow 0.000% BAL (blood alcohol level), which means dont even use mouthwash.
and im legal to drink.
its fucking insulting.
does this happen anywhere else?

actually i didnt have my student ID on me for our school's annual 'oscar night' so the principal, who i know pretty well and get along with, wouldnt let me in...it blew

They dont want drunks at high school functions, thats not hard to understand. Even if you are of age, others at the school arent. High schools a bitch, society today allows such tight restrictions at this stage in your life, I hate to say that theres nothing much you can do...but theres nothing much you can do about it.

Personaly I believe my short term memory has been affected but that is the main side effect and I also think maybe my short term memory has been affected.

i got in shit for drinking at a school dance and the teachers said that they were gonna be in our faces all night makin sure we don't smell like alcohol.

that really sux!at our proms and stuff it doesn't matter if we get there drunk but when we are there, only if we are legal to drink, we are allowed three drinks, i think you should have your own party at someone elses house if you have to go through the breath things

SAC (the local all guys school) at all of thier after parties when you pay entrance cover if u didnt go to the dance u have to give the parents your keys and then when you go to leave you have to blow zero to get your keys back. All thier after parties are partially school sponsered and thier really fun... HUGE djs adn kegs and tents. The parents just chill by the end of the drive to get keys and sell cups (they gotta cover booze somehow)

my principal is a fucking nazi. last homecoming dance me and a bunch of friends just went for fun, not formal or anything. i can't dance worth shit, the only thing that can make me dance well (or make me think i'm dancing well) is alcohol. so we show up there completely wasted and dance around for a while. then i see my principal circling around the dance floor looking for kids who look really drunk. he catches 2 people i know, then looks right at me and my friends and we all just took off running and left, it was funny shit.

they 'said' they were gonna give us breathalizers at our prom this year. all we had was cops covering the front door and opening the doors for all the ladys. prom was pretty fun.
