Smoking weed with a concussion

i gota concussion about a little over a week ago and will smoking weed like fuck with me, i mean will having a concussion affect anything, i just dont wana fuck with my brain by smoking weed while i have a concusion if its guna be bad for me

just don't ddrink while you have a cuncusion. you could die. other wise you'll get lucky like i did and vomit blood or bile.

you should be fine, a concussion is when the brain smashes into the skull from being moving at a high rate of speed, then stopped suddenly.  a cuncussion is your brain resetting itself after trauma.  smoking shouldn't interfere with this, i give it a go

If your brain is "reseting" itself like someone said up there I probably wouldnt do it. Could mess you up and leave you as a drooling she beast the rest of your life. But im no expert.

Wyll my friend did it after getting the shit kicked outta him, and he smoked a fair bit with a concussion, and just said he felt higher.

it has been proven in switzerland that smoking weed helps your brain from swelling... so it will help you with your concusseion.. unles your smoking swag... your nog will kill you.

yeah, its actually been proven everywhere.  thats why you can get medical marijuana for glaucoma, it keeps teh swelling down so your retinas don't get crushed

SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE
i got a pretty bad concussion playing rugby about two years, ago...it was healing, and i went skiing and fell and slightly hit my head again when i tipped over on a bad landing...didnt think anything of it, but felt kinda weird, like i was coming down from a concussion (not sure if i explained that well)
regardless, had a couple drinks and smoked a little like a couple days later and felt MAD WEIRD, like, couldnt focus on anything and it felt just fucking weird

waited a couple days and smoked again, completely bugging the fuck out cuz my head was SUPER FUCKED

the next day in class, the same "hallucinations" (it kinda felt like a light shroom trip, walls moving slightly and such) and i wasnt high or drinking or anything and i fucking lost it and went straight to the hospital, where they told me i had post concussive syndrome, something where since my brain was recoering from the concussion, i rattled it again, and then proceeded to drink and smoke (altho not much) i just fucked myself over

it healed on its own and i was fine after a couple sober weeks but shit man i dont ever wanna feel that way again, especially the daylight one

i know, im an ass for drinkin and smokin but shit, thats what we did after games and such for rugby

You more than likely had post concussive syndrome and the smoking only made the PCS worse.

Oh, and NO, it isn't safe to smoke with a concussion. Anytime your brain is healing, besides getting bonked on the head again, the worst thing could be to fill up your head with chemicals that either change the healing process or slow it down.

dude thats amaxing i read the whole thing, ive never had a consussion my self, but i do smoke weed every day, so its good to know to stop smoking if i hit my head. wait are you sayng its ok to smoke youve only hit your head once? or do you only have to be worried if youve hit your head 2 or more times?

the article didnt really say marijuana was that bad but drug abuse. So also, dont do H until your concussion is healed.

Alot of scientists think pot has healing properties though, but yeah if your trying to get your memory back i dont think it would help too much, but if you had a body injury or something pot definitly helps it heal
