Any tips?
My subjects are Math Level 2, Biology E/M, and French.
I don't need any help for the french, im fluent.
However, seeing as i didn't do all too well on the math on my SAT I, what can i expect out of Math Level 2? Any pointers?
As for Bio, im pretty sure i can handle it, but any tips would also be very readily accepted.

what school are you trying to get into that needs SAT IIs.....I got into Cornell, NYU, Colgate, and U of R without them, so I dont understand why you need them (but im sure there is a reason)

don't listen to him, there's some precal but the first 30 questions or so should be basic shit you've learned through algebra and geometery. I had a rough time on it because I just couldn't do it all in an hour. I got a 580, but there's a crazy curve on it

Holy wow thank you. I was about to say, it says precal on collegeboard.com. I started balling like mad.
Thanks for the tips. What do you mean by "crazy curve"?

it just means that you can get a lot wrong and still get a good grade, I believe you can get 7 or 8 wrong and still get a perfect score, I think theres a scale on spark notes

i balled it up on math level 2. It is mostly precalc, but it isn't too hard. I didn't answer like 10 of the questoins so i thoguth id id really poorly, but i got the best score on all of my different tests on it because of the curve. Also, with bio, i took molecular and thought it was easier. Bio isn't too hard either, there just isn't a big curve on it. I dunno if you've taken ap bio, but if you have its not too bad at alll

Oh yea thats pretty much the same thing, you will do fine on bio. Are you okay at precalc? Tahts mostly what math 2c is. I didn't really study too much for math 2c because i took it last minute. It's tough to study for, just do some practice tests if you have time. Prob just one to see whats on it so you wont be suprised by the formal

I took my SAT I test 3 weeks ago, so i kinda get the format. I didn't do as well as i'd thought though, so im worried for this test... But yeah, precalc isn't a problem.

Math 2 is a mix of algebra and pre-calc, if you've taken a pre-calc class and done well it should be easy. I Took Math 2 along with chem in October and got a 780.

Not sure about the other two but French should be a breeze. I did not study once and got a 780 on the Spanish since I'm fluent just as you are in French. Why are you taking 3 though? I thought the majority of colleges that want Subject Tests only want 2, maybe stanford is different but I know UCs only require 2.

btw what did you get on the SAT 1? I got a 1900 and I heard that and above is considered a good score.

If you're taking them tomorrow and asking for tips now, then you're kind of screwed, unless you actually prepared. There's really nothing you can do the day before to prepare except relax and mentally prepare for the test.

i got the physics SAT II tommorow, possibly the hardest one considering you're not allowed a calculator and you have to memorize every equation. Even on the AP physics test they give you an equation sheet. Im supposed to be studying now but NS has got me addicted

2-3 is what is asked. Seeing as i've been in european schools my whole life, i figured doing 3 SAT II's would help show them my level on the US scale i guess... though, it seems as if american HS gears you up for the SAT and only the SAT, whereas the euro schools gear you up for the bac...
I got an 1860 on my SAT I. Math could have been sooooo much better.
Math level II went decently. All of this stuff was stuff i had done 8 months ago. Im doing calculus and trig and stuff, and it was all on the stuff i had nearly forgotten how to do. I didn't answer 10 questions, but what i did do i was pretty confident on...
French was easy, though... I had set myself up to do a perfect score, but i got distracted by the guy next to me dropping his pencil so i didn't hear part of the dialogue. But yeah, that's just me being anal.
Bio i aced. That thing was seriously easy stuff. I took the M part, because the E didn't resemble anything i had done in europe.
Yeah, i think it went ok. But then again i thought SAT I's went well, and they weren't as good as i'd hoped. 580 in math... wow.
And yes, Sheldon, i do take bio. Gasp! A religious biologist! Oh noes!
How'd everyone else do?

Don't worry about not answering those qeustions. I didn't answer 9 i think? and still got a 770. Like said before, the curve is big
