so when i finally tried on some spk's, i found myself suprised at how they feeled. i was expecting to step into a mushy, low performance feeling boot. it actually felt like a similar flex to my old technica diablo flames. i am just i know it will be good for park but will it perform for real skiing??? pow, bumps, trees, etc.??? cause i take a couple west trips a year just wondering if it will be ok.
well if they flexed like your diablos.... aren't diablos dope out of the park? i really want some spks, can't really justify it after pickin up my promodels just last year though.
yea i agree with how u go about getting boots, i have done the same for years. i had a long talk with a trusted fitter and i decided to get them cause most of my skiing is icy east coast jumps and rails and i am sick of my shins and heels kiiling me after a day of skiing. just wondering when i do decide to ski elsewhere how they will hold up. thanks.
you will be fine, they aren't that much different. They are geared for the park. Don't expect to have responsiveness on a FIS certified Super G like a plug boot will though.
im a little worried because i have mad room around my toes but the tip of my toes touches the boot and my ankle and the rest of my foot is secure. i know they have a fat toe box but my toes are swimming, other than that they are like slippers
