You guys all needa relax...he's giving an opportunity here to get sponsored and enjoy skiing, if u want it, take it (or attempt to take it), if you dont, leave him be. Why dont u go shit all over K2, Armada, Oakley, or any ski shop...they want sponsors...Werd up to Snow Life, looks like you guys have your priorities straight and are ehading in the right direction...I'd send some film from last year, but im gonna wait a couple months to get some good shit down.

Because K2, Armada, Oakley or any ski shop don't come on to NS trying to shamelessly promote themselves with random promises of sponsorship. We don't need this on the forums of NS.

Alrighty, now that the little bitches who do nothing but complain about anything non-newschoolers have had a chance to chime in, we'll respond to the normal questions people asked and get you guys headed in the right direction.

What we're looking for are DIE HARD skiers, Not die-hard forum posters. We want what any company would want from any of their "sponsored" riders.........EXPOSURE. We arent some rinky-dink operation. We're comprised of 13 core-ass skiers & snowboarders who are pumping all of our OWN money into this project to build a badass community of shreds.

If we were looking for hits from a thread on NS, trust me, we'd have more than a dozen posts. Rather, we are sticking to our principals, and not allowing our current and potential sponsors to change our focus. We are being VERY selective with the companies we align ourselves with to keep our project organic and grass-roots in nature. We are posting this on NS because we know for a fact that a shitload of you fools can kill it.

One of our main goals is to connect the everyday shred with guys that do this for a living. If you have the 9-5er but use every spare minute of your time getting on the hill, we're talking to you. If you tried on your full setup this summer and stood around like a complete deusch in your living room just because you wanted snow that bad, you are who we are.

The bottom line is this- There are haters all over this site. We don't care about them at all. Hate us if you want. We want to attract the people on here(not take away) that are like-minded fools that would like to be a part of something different. This site is only a couple of months old, but let us promise you this. If you can find a community that covers Icer Air more in-depth than we do, bring it. If you check TheSnowLife.com on Monday night after this event, you're going to see wtf we're about. Our shit is on another level.

wow very badass you fool. I dunno I'm passionate about skiing, it's my life, I appreciate what you're trying to do and good luck with it, I just don't really get a good vibe from you. I'm not badass or hardcore, I'm a skiier. I ski because I love skiing not because I love having my ass bad. I don't think I'm gonna "bring it" to you even if your shit is on another level cause that kinda talk just makes you sound like a try hard who doesn't even know why he likes skiing. I don't really know why but I just get the feeling you try so hard to be one of the cool kids that you never will be.

ya really maybee I've gotten the wrong impression of you guys but I don't wanna be sponsored by somthing I don't like. People who read stuff in the YGO thread know I'm not big on salomon for some reason and wouldn't want to get hooked up by them. I don't wanna get sponsored just so that I can say I'm sponcored. That's meaningless and to me it kinda sounds like that's all you're gonna get cause you still have yet to acctually offer anything to the people who you sponsor and most skiiers who are passionate about skiing aren't trying to be "badass"

it's seems like a lot of bugs, 50k limit for uploading of pics? no east coast forums. it's hard to find your away around or it was (you get used to certain formats I guess)

I dunno, if they actually get out there with support, it would be cool but I would think that larger sites like NS, TGR or snowboards.com would have already done something like they propose.

If they can get it going it'll be cool. A bit of a different approach. I really like the unity between boarders and skiiers. That's essential I mean we're all out there for the same reason, one or two planks it's still the same. I can understand all the bugs it's not easy to get a site going perfectly so as long as they get them fixed up then it should be fine. It feels wierd being on a differnt styled forum cause I keep presing the wrong stuff. I'm so used to NS
