so im looking to get a pair of new skis. i am currently riding the 05-06 rossi scratch fs. and im looking at getting a pair of salomons i have never really been a big fan of them but they have kinda impressed me this year. i dont kno much about them. i am pretty hard on my skis and edges i ride alot of rails and ride about 90% park. so i want a all park ski. is the thruster a all mt twin? or is that the foil? im kind of comparing the Thruster,SPK, and The Dumont. now is the thruster the all mt twin of the group? and is the spk like the all park ski? cuz i have herd that the spk is a pipe ski? and that the eges wouldint hold up on rails? and the dumont is just a all park ski? or wat? can someone explain this to me and give me a lil help here? which ski would be better for me the SPK or the Thruster?

yea. i kidna want the wood core but i can get the spk and the thruster off the hookup for cheap as hell. and the dumont isint on there so im kinda leaning more towards the spk and thruster.

the thruster is alittle bitmore all-mnt than the SPK. the spk is stiffer, fast and built for jumps and pipe. it wll hold up prob better than the thruster will, due to more fiberglass, but the thruster has some decent characteristics as well. they are flexy = good for jibbing. the both now have rivets, and salomon is ever working on their edge issue, tho its mostly is evident in their pro models. i would personally go with the thrusters or the SPK's, if it were up to me.

i'd go with thrusters
and all of my reasoning has been stated in the comments above

i like a lil bit more of a stiffer ski. but will the edges on the spk hold up? or is that a ski made for pipe? and will the edges get destroyed on rails?

foil is there all mountain 50% park 50% mountain but the spk is bomb and the sweet thing is this year they used rivets in the tip and tail to keep it from delaming (i delamed some four year old teneightys last year and the ended up sending me a foil so i was stoked) but the spk would be the best fro straight park
