prolly better than Mt. Hood's setup all year round. I wish i was in keystone right now, o well only a few more months until i can shred A51. you guys are all so lucky to be able to ski this early!
prolly, but a pass all year to keystone, breck, a basin and 10 days at vail/beaver creek/heavinly is like 300... sooo you pay for that in like 10 times
From some folks that work at keystone, no park, can't even ski to the bottom. I guess you will ski to that short chair, lap that and when you want to go down you need to d/l on the gondy.
...although, its supposed to hit 5* tonight, its 22 here in Vail right now and everyone knows that the Stone is always colder, so they might make some more snow and put up some rails to compete with mighty Copper.
LAst year they had 12 rails/boxes set up during the first week. That was during the 36 hours of Keystone. I am definately doing that again this year. But this year the 36 hours of Keystone isn't until December 1.
rails are pretty up to them, but the last two years, both of which they had less snow than this year, they had good rail lines up on opening day on mostly man made snow, and this year they have 15 inches of natural snow (43 total) at the base and its been so cold up there, if they cant make a full run down the mountain they are retarted
Yea right, Keystone is the one not having rails. Copper is going to have a full park up opening day. Also the 5 mountain pass isn't working at Keystone this year, they transfered it to Ski Cooper. So no one should go to Keystone this weekend, only Copper and Ski Cooper.
What are you talking about?!?! My buddy works at copper and as of now they plan on opening up with an S rail, the blue double kink, down kink, down rail, trap box and flat box. depending on how much snow they can make tonight, they'll have 1 or 2 tables up also.
you are fucking retarded, thay are not changing the pass to go to ski cooper. Where the fuck did you hear that?! i'm going to sue them if they did that. i can't bitch enough if this is true. if it's not, i can't tell you how much of a fucking tard you are
and where did you hear this? i just looked at their site, nothing different. if i remember right i have seen you doing a bunch of bullshit posts so........ show me some proof bitch!
It was titled something along the lines of, "Locals Stunned, Keystone Out, Ski Cooper In."
If you don't believe me call up Keystone's customer service.
Also in related news, Vail Resorts picked up Rod Smith to endorse its' commercials, leaving Black Jack Pizza scrambling for a substitute.
UPDATE: The pass at keystone is $59 for tomorrow, The copper ticket is $38. Keystone will not be setting up any rails until next weekend when they were suppose to open, this weekend all they will have open is 1 trail. Expect more park stuff for next weekend though... Copper is opening with the park stuff mentioned above^^^^ not exactly sure how many trails are going to be open though...?
hes just fucking with you man haha, guess you didnt catch the sarcasm, i sell passes for vail and ill tell you that keystone is still on it, and ski cooper isnt
if keystone doesnt have rails up i am going to cry... i have a feeeling that those kids are just copper kids lying who know that keystone is sicker all season and will be sicker tomorrow too but i dunno... if nothing else, u dont have to wait 1 hour in line at keystone for the park...
keystone will definatly have at least a few rails up... and if not ill just go over to a-basin, they have a few
but im sure they will.. i will be there sunday
you guys smoke pole, keystone will have a park, im going to guess about 15 features. and im shure lift tickets are only going to be around 40. also, they are proaly going to have the bottom of motzart open to the base, last thursday when i drove by they were making snow down there, i dont know why they would have not finished the rest of it by now. who all is skiing saturday and sunday? i cant tomorrow because i have class!
