I don't really know much about bindings so i was wondering if u guys would help me out.
I've been riding on s912's and i don't like them because they pre release to much. I weigh about 135 lbs. and i am an agressive skier that does about 75% park and 25% all mtn.
So what makes a binding good? I have a pair of '06 Rossi axail 140's that i got for free, are those any good? And is the salomon z14 any good? (i heard those were light). Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.. thanks

your rossis are SOLID bindings. i had problems with your old salomons as well. i think for the salomon Z series they got their act together though. i'd stick with the rossis.

ur only 135 lbs....the 912s really should be fine and u definitely dont need 14 din but if u got them for free...then yes they are a good binding and u might as well use them.

the z12 is better thant the 9 series cause they got rid of the wing and toe height adjustment that was always fucking loose

get z12s. and your weight you wont have to worry about pre-releases and you'll be happy with an extremely light binding. cant really go wrong the the 140s either altough the pivot heel was better.

If you already have a set of Rossignol 140's you don't need to consider any other bindings.
