weird trick dude.... i find it much easier to cork out a 3 on snow than a tramp.... becuase of the slpoed takeoff and the sloped landing...
_________________________________________________________
i don't even give a big carve, just don't huck hard like your first cork7 or something, just drop your shoulder look down and float it out, don't rush it
good point^ its a 'floating' trick its like really freakin slow and shit and looks like your gonna eat shit but you pull it around and you say yeah im the shit.... shit

i find it easy to do when going off a tramp because of the whole look down go down thing, but just watch a vid of a cork 3 and do what the person does

watch JF Cusson's part in Happy Dayz. his second jump (after the old-school hit) is a fucking huge and slow flat 3 mute, it is soooo nice, cusson is the man.

real cork threes are really really hard, everybody sems to think that if you just carve off a jump and bend at the waist its a cork 3, its not
you need a huge jump to do a good one, like atleast 60ft gap, then you have to do a slow ass rotation and just set the spin a little bit back off the jump, the bigger you go, the more corked you can get, grabbing saftey also helps to make it more corked
rukus is right, but there is an exception. Download 'solidpowder' (www.solidpowder.com). Watch Tanner's segment. he does an insanely corked 3 off of a table no more than 30 ft., it's super corked too. tanner corked.

What I like about cork 3's is that you keep it loose and smooth. You lean your shoulder into it.
Carve off the jump look towards your boot/ground, it helps set you off axis a little if you do a safety with your inside ski (if you are spinning to the left, grab left ski)
The only problem is that once you start doing off axis stuff, is that you may have some trouble doing regular spins. leaning into the jump feels more comfortable
throw in a reverse parallel for huge style points...just spin and drop off teh jump, there easy if you go BIG. i mean realy big. i learned my first one gapping the super hip at whistler...

going big helps cus its for the most part unless your tanner a slow floating trick the closest i have come the jump was like 45-50 feet long i almost have it. Some guy who saw me said it was corked but i know it was not really corked it was off axis. I have seen lot of people say that they can throw corked tricks and they are close but not quite there.
i just learned cork 5s and 7s on my tramp and last week i started trying cork threes...they are damn near impossible but with my trusty video camera i figured out what i was doing wrong and now im all set and i can stomp them like fucking nothing

would it be better to to grab right or left ski safty if spinning left? and does it help to film yerself on the tramp before u take it to the snow?
yay 4 skiing
carve! with out carving its almost impossible. and if you spin left grap with left that way it throws your shoulder down and youll have a better chance of corkege. the only problem is coming out of it. look for your landing as soon as possible. most likely youll land back seat. its a hard trick to master but once you get it its dope. and yes john symmes is the master. no one can do better.
i can do them on the tramp now too...you just have to think about it and compensate for the take off of the jump putting you back about 25-35 degrees and the landing as well as what craigc said, a left hand safety immediately once you get back a little is what initiates the cork (you should be corking at 90 and totally corked getting ready to come out at 180), then you just have to almost force yourself to come out early, so spot as soon as you can....i think they will be easier on snow, can't wait to try
think about getting your shoulders out in front of your toes

...one time this guy opened a window and the ninja flipped out and killed the whole TOWN!!!...
i doesn't matter if you carve or not, but carving it is easier!
cork 3's are a super relaxed trick just pop hard and bring your feet up in front of you so you are laying on your left side at 90 degrees stall it out at that point. grab right hand safety with a wide stance and look behind, and down to the left, which will be your landing. hold the grab and don't freak out, cuz the first few times will feel like you will bail. but if you stay tucked up you will usually come out on your feet. this is for spinning left. after a while it became easier for me to do it corked then then verticle.
once you get comfortable you can overshoot landings no problem. and if you want to do it dirty just spin it the other way and reverse everything.
there is no 'throwing' involved....you want to make sure it's set exactly like a reg 3 and let it flow...it's just an off axis 3, nothing more, nothing less - wait till you see the slightly inverted cork3 i've been bustin...what would you call that, a d-3? weird
