So two kids approached me and wanted to buy my twin tips. I have Last years chronics and the AR5s from 2 years ago. Each have perfect edges and no core damage. The chronics have a perfect base, and the AR5s had a little 3 inch gouge but I got it filled. The AR5s have the Rossy bindings like those look ones (170 new) and the chronics have the px12s that were 200. How much should I sell them for? I dont care about selling one pair of skiis, but if I sold both I would need at least 400-500 for new chronics and 250 for the deadbolts, and then some. The AR5s (now AR6s I guess) are 500 and the chronics are 400. I was thinking maybe 400 for the chronics (I have skied them maybe 10 times). Probably the same for the armadas (each with their bindings). Also take into account that I wasn't looking to sell them.
good luck selling them for 400 its a fair price and the white chronics are bombproof but i would look for 350 for the ar5's and 250-300 for the chronic i have no means to knock down ur price but that is what people have been selling for around here, also try ebay. good luck selling
They werent the white chronics, they are mostly black. But anyways well I don't really want to sell them but I would if they went for enough. But thanks for the info.
I don't know who your selling to, and if the kid is stoked on the price that's great, just don't let him see this thread, because I'm going to be frank.
04/05 AR5's with look bindings don't sell for more then $300 on a very very good day, I'd say closer to $250 depending on condition.
04/05 with those bindigs (that everyone now has) won't sell for more then $300 either, but $250 is closer.
Yeah, its funny cause i have almost the exact same set up on my hands and i'm thinking the same thing. I'll sell 'em, but only if i end up with enough money to buy a new pair of 07's and maybe some beat up powder skis. Maybe just post it on craigslist for whatever you'd like to get for them and see if anyone's desperate enough.
lineskier, thanks for info. and dont worry this kid doesnt know what this site is
other dude, exactly my point. I don't really want to sell them so I am going to have to ask more than what they go for since i still want my skiis
If someone is willing to buy it...go for it. However, I really don't get whats with people who think they can sell some 2 or 3 year old skis and get enough to buy a new pair of the current year's models. Does it even make sense? You'll have better luck with selling ones that are just one year old and still in good condition. You're going to have to spend some money at some point. It does work better with outerwear tho.....
