Very Frustrated

So I got a MacBook Pro, knowing that they are good for editing photos and videos, and those are two of my big hobbies. However, I'm not willing to drop the money to buy these programs...I didn't originally realize how ridiculously expensive they were. So now I have this really advanced computer but nothing making it worthwhile. Anybody know of any cheaper editing programs or a way for me to get reliable versions of Photoshop or Final Cut for cheap?

I'll trade you my 15 inch Powerbook with tons of programs for your macbook. Probably worth about the same, and you don't have to illegally get all those programs.

you usually have to leave torrents running for a few days, especially for big files. would you rather wait 6 days or pay 500+ bucks?

it takes not even a day, a few hours at max. depends on the hoster though, rapidshare is a butt
