End of cork 180 discussion

A cork 180 is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE. To complete a "corked" trick it requires more then 180* of rotation. This is fact. Although there are 180's out there that you might as well call corked becuase their damn close to it. But in reality, there is no cork 180. But fuck reality, this is skiing.

cork means off axis. ya it came from corkscrew but it is now used to mean off axis. I can't stand it when people are all like "oh that wasn't corked it was only like 45 degrees off axis" well then it's cork! Although I think stuff should just be called 5, switch 7 whatever the spin and way; you take off and then the axis you take just adds to the style of the trick. If you really want to explain what the trick was like you can say what the axis was but people shouldn't always be like "I'm gonna go do a switch rodeo 900 opposite hand high nose mute" just call it a switch 9 and that's sufficient.

you have to be corked when going off lip but it certainly is possible
