Whats the big deal?

I would believe the argument is that people who wear shit under their helmets are doing so just to look cool and shit becuase it's not how a helemt is meant to be worn and is not how a helmet is meant to protect your head. I have mixed feelings about it, but for the most part I think personally I'd never do it cuz I think it is kinda just tryin to hard to look cool, but I can see where people are coming from as far as having the comfort of a hat and whatnot and throwin a skate helmet on for a lil protection.

I'm slightly confused, does this mean that because I wear my goggles under my helmet because it keeps my face warmer and they dont't fit around my helmet is wrong? I'm pretty sure that it's not going to make a tremendous difference in how it preotects your head. Even if you were wearing a tuque under your dome protector, wouldn't that protect your head more because of the extra cushioning? That's my opinion.

You should wear a helmet just cuase its smart. You'd regret it to much if you got a head injury while not wearing a helmet and it significantl impacted your skiing.

^^^ We know that wearing a helmet is smart. Next time read whast the thread is about, in this case it's about wearing stuff UNDER your helmet. Clue up already.
