New Snowdome Planned For Buffalo - Abraham Reichmann, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Syata Group LLC, has signed a letter of intent to develop a unique US $100-million indoor, year-round entertainment, sports and themed-shopping destination in Buffalo, New York. The complex, which will be a minimum of 250,000 square feet, is a prototype that will be rolled out in other cities in North America and Europe. Preliminary attractions planned for the complex include a mini beach with indoor/outdoor waterpark, a year-round indoor snow palace with snowboard half pipe and festive-themed retail, restaurants and clubs. There would also be local historical and cultural exhibitions, a children's play world, multi-purpose show/concert/performance venue, comedy club, dinner mystery theatre, music, movie, and sports exhibits, an extreme sports venue, golf and baseball, 3D/4D motion simulator rides, a circus, and an indoor racing centre.

a 4d movie is usally seen a amusement parks. Say u have your 3d glasses for the movie. lets say the movie is shown from the first person u walk down the street some mud splashes on u. Not only will the mud be 3d out of the screen, but water will come down from the ceiling to get u wet. Say u are in a room with rats, not only are they 3d, i will feel air blowing and suiqqle things brushing against your legs while u are in your seat. Its all cool.

i read something about one being planned for vegas too. with a closed circuit tv system with like a 15 second lag on the jumps so you can stop at the bottom and get instant video of your trick

Yeah, instead of building these crazy indoor arena's we are talking about they probably used the money to build gay parking garages around the city or something.. fuck man, that would be so sweet to have places like this around the US, ahh well though

the one in vegas isnt takin that long to build at all becuase its going in an old quarry so there isnt any need to excavate

i heard about one of those happening in anaheim like 2 years ago and have heard nothing about it since, which cant be a good sign, but i heard about another in a helly hasen mag, apparently one exists in sweden and it is quality

they should also throw one of those man-made freestanding waves for surfers, forgot what it is called but it is pretty cool, you wear like a wakeboard and it's this generated wave... i saw it on tv, that would also be sick to have as well as the terrain park of course...

lanks - read the thread before you post. It was gonna be called the gotcha glacier and they were gonna have mammoth run it, but they never finalized the funding and it was way too expensive. Becuase of its design, the one in Vegas cost 1/10th the price and thats why it is under construction and opening this fall.

yo that indoor stuff dont even matter no more tenny mountain in NH will be able to make snow when its up to 60 degrees out next year,they r gunna beat killington to opening day, i think the planned opening day is october 1st? thats gunnna be a hella long season
