Cork 1's and 90 to Opp 270's-Real Or Not?

Me and a close colleage just had a indepth discussion about the reality of these two, hight contriversial tricks. He brought up a valid point of the absolute impossiblissness (sp, word) of each trick. Then I brought up that they both have been done and are clear that they are both tricks...Then he somewhat gave in by saying they are quote, "the lockness and bigfoot of ski tricks." They are clearly very contriversial, and physics proves that they are impsssible. Yet in Skimatic when Laurent Favre does the sickest cork one and then in the JOI Jon does a un heard of 90 to revert 270 in the same air?

No one really knows?

It's because you defeat the purpose of the definition of cork. Cork is only possible through a full rotation of the body and a 180 is not a full rotation. It's called being off axis, not corked. And as the Pep thing goes, he's God. He can do what he wants.

funny how people think pep meant to do a cork 90 to reverse 270. It was an ACCIDENT. he thought he was going to die, and did what he could to get out of landing on his head, which in that case was a 270 the other way back onto his feet like a cat.

This a great example of direct proof. Your friend has a hypothesis that COrk 1's and 90 to opp 270s are impossible.
You can now prove it directly by saying no, Pep and Laurent have done those tricks, therefore these tricks are not impossible.

They arent impossible, but they are megamega hard. Theres a "rule" out there that says its impossible to lick your elbow, but Ive witnessed it multiple times.

i literally thing its almost impossible but thats what i thought about this one trick where u half lincoln loop in the air pause while ur upside down and do a half back flip and land switch, i thought it was literatly impossible till i saw this guy do it, he litterally defied gravity but it was real so u never know it could happen, skiers are fucking weird nowa days

Wouldn't a 90 plus 270 be a twister to the right/left and then spinning a 180 the oppisite direction?

at first i thought you meant 90 no 270 off of a rail. and i was super confused reading your thread. now i'm still confused cuz there's been vids of this shit. theres one of pep doin in the the top rated vids if it's sitll there it's called like pep is amazing or somethin like that

where did you get this definiton? show me proof of it then i will believe it has to be a ful rotation of the body. from what i know a cork is spinning and going backwards off axis and comming out of it. and pretty sure u can do 180s like that cuz its been done
