What's new at Sugarbush?
1) Super Parx building every feature, including the big hits, for the terrain areas at Mt. Ellen
2) Brand new base area at Lincoln Peak with live music every weekend and holiday as well as special events
3) We have manicured some gladded areas but most existing mountain terrain is in the Green Mountain National Forest so we can't cut new trails due to conservation. With Lincoln Peak, Mt. Ellen and the Slidebrook Basin we have 4,000+ acres of skiable terrain. Tons of space off-piste that you can access and rip.
4) We are looking to get some jibbing areas on general terrain so some features might be present higher up the mountain (but it's not concrete yet). We are just trying to get the right spots so you can explore and have fun.
Our new park manager, Nate, is versed in park design and maintainence. He just got back from some time out at Whistler complete some "Pipe Cutters" terrain management courses. We are going to keep everything flowing well this year and have much more money and more staff dedicated to our parks.
Check us out this winter, it's going to rock!
What do you mean? We have hired the best (Super Parx) to create the highest quality features. These guys have made top 10 parks in North America so the features are beefy and will be sick.
