I have created an account on Xdrive.com that gives us 5GB of storage. We can use this account to upload/download samples, programs, ect. If everyone uploads some of their own stuff, there will be pleanty of stuff to be downloaded.
Just go to:

http://xdrive.com/homepage.jsp
Click Log In at the top left

Then use this for the account:

Screen Name: NSMPC (Just remeber that it is short for NewSchoolers Music Production Cult)

Password: newschoolers

I have added some drums, SX 3 and Absynth 3 to the account. How about everytime someone adds something, they post what they have added so 1. people know what has been added and 2. this thread will keep getting bumped to the top

O and just a note on the side, if it asks if you want to log in using your aol screen name or x drive account, choose the aol option

ok you guys should check this out for sure...multiple options of free programs, some sick drums.
and I just put up a lot of my VST plugins. Lots of useful stuff for overdrive, distortion, envelope, everything. Some cool instruments too. A good "erhu" (chinese violin thing), as well as the best Sitar VST I've ever used.

so check it out.

i just downloaded absynth 3 and its a .exe file... what Do i use to convert that to run in my apple g4? MPC sequences are exe. too right?

hmmm that may be the windows version...i don't know if there is any way to convert it....and ignore those MPC sequences...they must have slipped in there by mistake
