P14 / Axial 140 Questions.

Ok, so I decided that I don't need the S916 Lab, the lowest setting is 9, and I usually run bindings at about 8 for everyday riding, but might crank them a notch or two for back country riding. I want some P14/Axial 140s to go in my Prophet 130s...here's what I want to know, is it possible to bend the brakes that much, and if not, could I use a Salomon or 4FRNT brake that fits 130mm and somehow retrofit it to pivots? Also, how does the heel screw pattern on them compare to the FKS155? Cause I've heard that the FKS are more likely to rip out because of the tight screw pattern, but are the regular pivots much better? I'm 6'4" and 160lbs if that helps. I've also heard that Look doesn't make a jig that fits skis over 99mm...is that true? Because the only way to mount them if it is, would be a custom jig, or freehard it, and I've never had a freehand job done, but I've heard that a good tech can freehand a job so well you would never be able to tell, what does everyone here think? Any experiences?

not sure about the screw pattern.
look makes fat brakes that go up to 110mm (I believe). Not worth attempting to retrofit sollys.

Yes, you can bend brakes to fit prophet 130s and it would very difficult to retrofit another company binding. Also I'm not sure on the screw pattern between fks and the axials but I do know that the pivot heel axials had a more narrow screw pattern (and was prone to ripping out on certain skis) then the new axials. I can't remember exactly but don't prophets have a mounting plate in them or did they remove it for weight issues. Can someone correct me on this if I am wrong.

Wow, this is fuckin' weird...last night when I bumped it, I had no replys, but I actually did, I dunno. Anyway, I'm not even wanting the PX, I know they have a wider screw pattern and all that, I want them for the pivoting heel, otherwise I could just get most any other bindings, the only thing that sets the Look/Rossi apart in my mind is the fact that I'm less likely to mess up my knee using them. I don't need S916 Labs, I seriously doubt I'll ever run them past 10, and I want something in the medium range so the springs will last longer. And like I said I'm 6'4" ish and about 160lbs, I won't be cranking them up enough to rip them out, unless the do it super easy. And I heard they mostly only had problems with foam core skis, and/or mystery core skis like the Jp vs. Juliens. But are the FKS or the Pivoting Axial better? I don't need a super high din like 18 or anything, but I want something that won't rip out and will be durable and work, and I loved my P12's, but I've never ridden the FKS, what is the word?
