I think Marshalls is hit or miss for great stuff, but TJ maxx is more of a safe route, but it won't have any great deals.

definatly try both if you can, or get stuff at one then go to the other and keep the tags on the stuff from the first one so you can return if you find better shit

yea i got that one piece, but aside from the all they had were some xl and xxl oakley jackets and that was it for respectable outerwear, tjmaxx usually has a pretty good assortment of oakley, siver, sessions, etc. although that was the first time i've even been in a marshalls so maybe on a good day they'll have a better selection.

Well, I successfully hit both yesterday.  Marshalls had next to nothing, and TJ Maxx had a bunch of stuff.  They had a nice Siver coat for $100, and a bunch of Orage stuff as well (a sweet lime green coat, but for $200).  I picked up this solid dub coat for $70.
