where does everyone find metal freakin pipes? or do people buy them, whats a good metal to work with that slides well and drills easily?

Search your town and find an industrial metal yard. They'll have more metal than you'll know what to do with. Also, make sure you get steel.

my dads work has a whole cargo container full of metal all sorts of it and I can get any of it for free and get it welded there
