last saturday i was driving my moms car with some friend and a person wrote down my licence plate cause i was driving 10 km over the speed limit and now i have to go to court it is stupid

Its a cop that caught your speed. A citizen cannot do that

i thought a citizen couldent do that either but they are it sucks my parents are pissed so am i i might lose my license

A citizen can make a traffic complaint. i had it happen when i spun out on a cresent in the rain and some guy got my plate and i got a call the night after...if u get too many they can make a notation on ur insurance..
