K so last year i was just cork 3'ing a 60 foot kicker and "my friend said i caught a endge and cased it" but i dont remember becuz i woke up in the hospital with bleeding in the brain....its been almost a year in a a couple months and i havent heard from the doctor lately and probably wont but do i really push it this year, go pretty hard but be kinda cautous, or just take it real safe in the park? Or another option is go hard on big mountain and mild in the park????
If you are going to take it easy in the park because of injuries, you definitely shouldn't push yourself doing big mountain stuff. You can mess yourself up a lot easier doing that than hitting jumps.
unless your trying to be the best skier in the world, just take it easy. learn some new buttas, some new tech stuff, just be creative and have as much fun as possible, im sure youll know when you think your ready to try hard again.
Yeah, brain injuries are hard to gauge. You might not feel anything, or might be perfectly fine, then your next fall and BAM youre dead. Well maybe... I'd say yeah, call up that doctor.
you mean riding pow then right? Big MOuntain is like the most dangerous for sure. But tht has nothing to do with your head injury most people just die. So do big mountain.
DEFINATLY wear a helmet 100% this season, even just on the bunny hills.
if he is even slightly worried about it, keep it mellow for this season. work on tech stuff, try some new grinds, maybe take up filming or photography if you ride with a good crew, and try your hand at that.
hey man read the article in the sept. freeskier about pros pushing it too hard. yeah you can push it hard, but then if you mess up it could change the rest of your life. it would be much better to just take this season easy and make sure your 100% before your really charging again
