Effective methods for removing chest hair

Hello everyone, I am at the certain age and stage where hair is begining to grow on several spots of my body. I have no problem with this at all, with exception to one area, the chest. I simply cannot stand looking at my own chest hair.
As of yet I have done nothing to get rid of this chest hair. This is because of the fear that if I start shaving my chest that it will grow back thicker and faster. I base this assumption from what happened when I first shaved my face the hair was replaced faster and faster until I am now at the point where I have to shave everyday.
I do not want to get to this point with my chest, I'm sure you can all appreciate me being reluctant to come to the inconveniance of shaving my chest constatly. I saw an episode of seinfeld where Jerry or one of those other characters tried shaving their chests and it grew back thicker. In the end they ended up howling at the moon and scratching their hairy chests incessantly (quite hillarious).
So if any of you have any suggestions/experiences with shaving your chests please help me, I am willing to try most anything.

your hair grew back faster on your face also because you were going through puberty. umm, try laser hair removal or waxing. if neither work, start wearing turtle necks

Your hair doesn't grow back thicker or faster when you shave. It just at an angle so it looks darker, but it doesn't grow thicker or faster.

i have shaved my chest in the past. its really a nuisance but yeah i would try waxing if i were you. cuz yeah the ladies love the hairless upper body. that is unless its flabby and pale. then i cant help you bro
