Laptop problems

its a dell inspirion 6000
i left it charging and when i came back it wasnt charging, even though it was still plugged in.  ive tried it in at least 5 different outlets so that isnt the problem cause it hasnt charged in any of those.  i think its a problem with the power cord, but im not sure.  what could i do to try and fix it, or is it a problem with the battery or the power cord

like on the cord, is there a box, on hte cord like all laptop cords do?

if therre is, check if the light is on, like its supposed to be when it charges. if it isnt, its either the five outlets you tried are broken or the cord is broke. it might also have to do with the laptop, how old is it

here's a laptop problem... i dropped mine from my lap and the disc drive fell out and now it won't work. that's a laptop problem.

ya i am guessing that the little power box thing isnt working, like the wire isnt plugged into that all the way, take a look at that

ill check it but its not even a half year old

and to the kids saying im having problems cause its a dell, if you want me to switch then buy me a new laptop
