So i just got a new pair of AR6's..... a little bit of an upgrade from my salomon 1080's that were four years old (they were mounted really far back) Wasn't sure where i shoul mount my Armada's .... Dead center or mabey a centimeter back or so .. I ski 65% park 30% pipe and 5% messin around and i travel once a year. Wut should i do ???
dead center fuckin sucks. dont do it dude. it actually puts a longer length of ski behind your bindings than in front. it looks retarded, they ride like SHIT, and its pretty much pointless. toss those suckers on anywhere from 2-4 back. i find 2cm back is my prefered mount.
My ar6s are in the shop right now gettin mounted at 2 cm back. I ski maybe 60 park 40 other shit and am goin to CO for a month... if not for CO I prolly woulda gone 1 back or center, but I think 2 will be super fun for everythin
i like dead center, the only thing that sucks is if you ride pow your nose dives unless you like manual through it. I've only ridden ar5's dead center though, maybe they handle better than other skis, but they carve fine.
