Replying to Whiteface Slides question??

Ok so im on the website, ive never actually been on these but i really want to hit them like badly so i got a few questions...
1. "For access to the Slides, the Whiteface Ski Patrol has created the following Rules:

Bronze – Slides will not open based on avalanche danger, lack of snow cover, or other operational considerations.
Silver – Slides will open but based on conditions, ski patrol will require avalanche precautions such as a beacon, shovel, and probe.
Gold – Slides are open with the stipulation that guests must be groups of two or more at ski patrol’s discretion."
does that mean i cant do them unless i got a beacon and a probe cuz i cant afford that shit and if you do need them can i rent them?

2. Would a pair of Pollards mounted atleast 2 back be enough to get through them? they are 166 should i have them mounted further back i havent mounted them yet so uhh yea get back to me on those thanks
