Boot modification?

I've got some 1080 guns which I love for everything, but could use a lil more coushin for the pushin in the park. I already added some foam ovals to the toes and they worked awesome last season, but I wouldn't mind a cushier tounge since the one it has is basically rock hard foam... anyone done any kinda modifications to they boots? The flex is perfect for what I do and they are nice and light and all and they still fit so I have no plans of getting rid of them any time soon. I've also considered trying using different liners, but I'm worried that might sacrifice a fair bit of their performance out of the park because right now they feel amazing for carving and stuff. I think a differen't liner could be sweet though...??

ya, liners can be sssspensive though, They do help, if you look at the new dalbello krypton pro, thats the liner you want. Ive also tried all kinds of shit to pad toes, pad my heels, etc... and in the end I had to find a boot that fit well with the good flex.

you caould also try skate(rollerblade) shock pads on the heal or try pm'ing EASTAR5 he had a pair of 1080's that he added alot of padding and ask him what he did

the heel is fine they have that 1080 shock absorber thing, it's just the shin and calf area really. any idea how compatable liners are in different shells??

Someone sells pads to stick on the tongues.  Also try booster straps.

anyone know who sells the pads? I've got some booster straps, maybe I'm just retarded but I can't get them to work on my boots. The velcro strap is riveted in and they don't really co-exist very well, so I just kinda gave up. The velcro strap on them is pretty beefy though so I just gave up on those

^baha brad that'd be good for a park rat i suppose, but my boots fit me properly so a thick ass booty thing like that would make it super tight and uncomfy, and I don't really want anything on my foot cuz then you'd just lose the the dope feedback and response you get from a boot with a thin ass shell like the gun.

i'm prolly just gonna not bother, i was just toyin with the idea and wanted to see if anyone else actually did it to their boots. If it gets to be an issue i'll put my boosters on
