My 182 foils just came in yesterday. I got them used off ebay. Theyre in pretty good condition. Definetly a good deal.
Anyway, they had demo bindings on them, and I didn't like them at all, so I took them off. The base of the demo bindings is much bigger than normal bindings, and now my foils have 10 drill holes in them from the demo binding base plate. Here is a pic:
The holes aren't filled yet, even though the pic may look like it. I already have a different pair of bindings to put on them. They are Look TX Sport bindings, which are kind of old, but they seem like good bindings, theyre in good condition, and theyre light.
My question is, when I get the holes filled and the new bindings mounted today at my ski shop, will the 10 holes from the old demo bindings affect the skis performance or durability at all?
My old PE's had been remounted and they were fine, but the foils have a foam core. Will this be bad for the skis? If so, i will be mad, because these skis are sick besides the 10 holes, and I dont want them to be affected to much by this issue.
Thanks for the help Newschoolers.
