when i first saw that picture it took me a few seconds to figure out what was going on. i was like is that some white rail? oh... no its a jet contrail.
that was pretty sick. we scoped that upturned root stump next to the halfpipe but ended up jibbing another little stump. thought the landing was too flat. maybe not.
i dont know what cheap date is but if your going down the catrack part of austins its just like 20 feet out of bounds on the left. probabbly still there if you side slip it once, but yeah its a huge drop, those angles dont do it justice.
cheap date is a backcountry run, where you built your jump. its called cheap date because you dont have to hike for it, there's a small hike out, making it relatively to get to and get out of. also it usually holds the snow pretty good.
