Pricing: always sucks for seller

soo, if you post a price that's too "high" according to the cheapskates, they call you out and bitch.
however, whatever price you put, people always want it to be lower. I say, if you want $50 bucks for something, ask for 60, etc. Trying to sell my used wisdoms, I asked 45 shipped. I've had at least 2 people offer me lower prices than that - for goggles that sell for $130 brand new. These are not in "brand new" condition, but they're in good condition, so, half the price = $65, take $20 off, that's $45, plus I'm paying shipping. Apparently that's not good enough.
Then there's that other guy selling T-Halls (2 seasons old, look like good condition) with scratch 100 bindings getting offers of $125 for the whole setup.
If you don't have money, you can't buy shit, don't expect people to give things away.

Also, people give you shit for "bumping" too much. Sales should be toward the top if they are still selling something. You may not be interested, but someone else who hasn't seen the sale probably is. Don't give shit to kids for trying to get their stuff sold.

ur wrong. people browse the entire first page, not just top 3 threads. dont bump until ur thread is off the page

ya it's tough to sell something for a reasonable price. I've had to lower the price of my brand new ANTs to 425 US when they're 550 at all the online stores

gotta remember its the nature of this website..
a) Most of the people here dont have stacks of $$$, so they will offer low..
b) Humans generally want bargains, so they offer low.
c) Often when someone is selling something they say 'i need $$$ badly, must be sold etc' So people once again offer low, hoping to get it for a great buy.
I agree - lowballing is lame but nobody likes to pay too much for something

go ahead and low ball, if its not what you want as a seller then dont sell it to that person you dont have to. wait until someone is willing to pay what you want or close to it. if not then it doesnt seem like its worth selling it so take what you got or suck it up and keep it
