You can pretty much spend as much or as little as you want.
It's more fun if you have a bit of cash (100-200) I'd say.
That way you can take part in the more 'indulgent' parts of whistler.
If you saw method man in the streets, he would punch you in the face.

are we talking american or canadian money... cuz it does make a difference... i had like 200 canadian i think... but if you want a sweatshirt and a hat for instance... then your down to like 120... so i'd say 250-300 cdn if you wanna spend money... but you only really 'NEED' about 100.
