ya ive had this talk before. lil wayne is really sick, the carter 2 is amazing. but then its a match of greats between nas and jigga, and well i would say nas. but then you have to think about the wu, and reakwon and meth and ghostface can rock a mic for sure. krs-one is still alive. dre had some good stuff but i would think hes so much better producing than rapping altho 2001 was ill, so was chronic. then i could delve into the underground and say the best all around cat would be slug, altho aseop is my personal favorite hes not the best rapper alive, the best rapper of his genre i would say, but not alive. eminem is up there, along with rakim, ice cube, and the beastie boys. but all in all i would vote nas

Yes, he was the producer for NWA and he would rap on some tracks but his rhymes were all written by ice cube.

^ do you really think rick ross is a good rapper? yeh hes got some tight songs and i listen to him but he blows at rappin, his lyrics are shit. like i said dont get me wrong i like it he just sucks at rapping for the most part.
