hey dude.......
Its been awhile since ive worked with cobras but here are my thoughts. If it says it should fit your boot then it def should (and the website says they fit from 23-28 so you should be fine). Sometimes the bindings are difficult to adjust, especially brand new. If you can turn the catridge make sure you are going the right way (sounds like you did) and keep pulling back on it to make sure its at its correct length (sometimes they bind up a bit). But finally and the more I type the more this theory makes sense: ALL bindings stretch. If at first you make the cable snug and then ski it a bit, they will loosen. That kinda sounds what happned to me. Just keep adjusting it to your boot and it will settle down eventually. And all the times ive switched and swapped skis, put the cables to their limits, (i have a big boot and several times ive used bindings i "shouldnt" have) never have I had them "break" or just give out. Unless you had them cranked for a size 23 boot and was using the stiffest boot on the market and put your knee to the ski you couldnt have blown the spring out (in my opinon, unless of course its defective).
