i recently aquired a macbook pro through a prodigious string of good luck, and thus have my 12" powerbook g4 around as a spare. i love it for its portability, and it's a little trouper for getting stuff done. i'm still debating whether or not to keep it, so i figured i'd see what kind of offers i'd get. specs are:
PowerPC G4 1.0Ghz processor
512MB RAM (256 onboard, plus a 256 stick)
40GB hard drive
Combo DVD/CD-RW drive
AirPort and Bluetooth included
OS 10.4.8 (I'll also include a Tiger install DVD)
The screen was recently replaced under AppleCare (which is up 11/09/2006, so good timing there), and the hard drive was replaced in August - all parts replaced under AppleCare are covered for an additional 90 days, so the hard drive is warrantied until mid-November and the screen until January of 07. Battery is brand new (recall replacement), and I'll throw in two 3rd party (Macally) chargers and a Marware sleeve (barely used, bought new a couple months ago). Minor cosmetic damage, a couple dents, but the system is perfectly mechanically sound. I'm out of the house for a couple days, but photos will follow.
Again, I'm just gauging interest. I'm thinking in the ballpark of US$800? For an additional $90, i'll include a 1GB stick of Kingston RAM to max it out to 1.25GB.
Internet's spotty, so apologies if I can't get reply right away.
